Bunzee Bands are an innovative and new kind of hair tie. They combine the softness of scrunchies with the power of numerous elastic bands. Each Bunzee is constructed using 12 interior bands making them one of the strongest & stretchiest hair ties around. Additionally, they are adjustable for a custom-tailored fit. Built to endure, these hair ties last from 6 months to 2 years on average.
Tired of hair ties that constantly slip? Bunzee Bands are designed to hold the thickest and heaviest of hairs firmly in place all day.
Worried about excessive scalp strain & pulling? Bunzees reduce the tension & pressure on roots by providing the extra "give" scalps need to breathe.
They're so comfortable you'll even forget it's in your hair. This makes them the perfect overnight sleep in hair ties.
Unlike hair ties that quickly stretch out, Bunzees retain their elasticity for well over 6 months of usage. Some have even reported 2 years!
Do these also work for fine & thin hair?
Absolutely! Both our Plush knit & Fluffy knit versions are great for almost all hair types.
Will this work for Type 4C Hair?
For Medium to Coarse 4C hair, we recommend our original Plush version. For thinner & more fragile Type 4C hair, we recommend our Fluffy-Knit version. Adding oil or moisturizer to the band prior to use is also helpful for finer 4C hair that clings.
How long will these last before they lose their stretch?
Bunzees retain elasticity for well over 6 months. Based on reports, some have even made it past the 2 year mark. As Bunzees age, cushions may begin to shrink but they will still retain their hold. Exposure to chemical products may shorten lifespan.
Can these be used as headbands?
No, Bunzees are not "headbands". If used as a "headband", they may 1) be tighter on your forehead and eventually cause tension/discomfort or 2) possibly roll backwards off your head do to their rounder shape. Headbands are generally flatter.
Can my hair get caught in the bead?
This can happen when adjusting so it's important to only tighten when bead is clear of any hair. For ponytails, always use multiple loops. Pre-adjust the band prior to use if you have difficulty. This is just an extra feature for those who need it.
